We are on the hunt for a suitably qualified person to help lead and support the development of rugby across all grades and sections of the club.

CFC Rugby Developer Role

  • Casual contractor or fixed term employee
  • Part time up to 20 hours a week
  • Immediate start
  • Reports to the General Manager/Chairman of Rugby

Key Tasks & Functions:

  • In conjunction with the Rugby Leadership Team and Technical Advisor, deliver a comprehensive rugby plan, with vision, values, standards and protocols for CFC-teams.
  • Focus on recruitment and retention of players, coaches, managers and other volunteers.
  • Be the link with the community to continue and enhance the growth and stability of the club at all levels.
  • Help with the delivery of a ‘One Club‘ superb on and off the field experience.

Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Work in close collaboration with the Chairman of Rugby, Technical Advisor and Rugby Leadership Team.
  • Provide support selected schools and clubs with the objective of recruiting players and supporting them.
  • Provide administrative support-direction for all club teams.
  • Manage all rugby administrative requirements.
  • Oversee and assist with the rugby development of the Junior club.
  • Close liaison and, assistance, implementation of training/coaching programmes with Juniors and some senior teams.
  • Work with coaches on the development and implementation conditioning-training skills programmes.
  • Oversee the distribution and stock control of team clothing, working with the Rugby Leadership Team.
  • Ensure all player registrations -subscriptions are processed and completed annually.
  • Assist in the promotion of the club to prospective players-managers- coaches.
  • Promote CFC as a safe, enjoyable, healthy club that will help create a positive environment and culture.
  • Meet with coaches-managers on a regular basis-track and report v goals.
  • Assist the ground staff ensuring playing fields and facilities are ready/safe for training -match day requirements.
